Our renewable energy projects are ultimately utility scale energy projects. As an example, a 100MW wind farm can cost in the region of $250-300 million to construct. Engineers are involved from the earliest stages of development assisting with everything from planning road building, bridges, slope stability, data collection and analysis systems for wind, hydro and biomass systems, grid interconnectivity, sub-station location and construction and so on. We ask our engineers to help us design projects that fit in with our ethics – to influence the large scale impact of moving to renewable energy to reduce mankind’s effect on Climate Change, whilst protecting the small scale impact of projects on the ecosystems they are located within.
Examples of firms we consult with include:

Ecosystems Consulting LLP Advises on slope stability, access routes and data collection and analysis and met tower engineering.
LEX Engineering Advises on sub-station locations, aerial, subterranean and submarine transmission
Genivar Advises on data collection and analysis, site engineering, turbine location.
